What is the difference between Oakwood housing and a hotel?

Oakwood offers spacious, fully furnished, beautifully decorated apartments, much larger than hotel rooms (even extended stay hotel rooms), featuring a genuine (more home-like) residential character. How do I locate and check-in to my apartment?

Oakwood is here to help you locate and check-in to your apartment. You'll select your apartment during the reservation process. When the reservation is confirmed, we'll provide you with an address, phone number, easy directions (from the airport or a major highway) and a map. Many locations offer a reception desk and 24-hour security where you will obtain your apartment keys. For other locations, we will send you the keys by FedEx before you plan to arrive or will meet you to give you a key. What are your prices?

Oakwood prices its accommodations on a daily basis, to allow for a comparison to hotel costs. Most Oakwood locations have a 30-day minimum stay. Please see rates page.

What is included in the cost?

Oakwood rent includes the complete cost of the apartment, all furnishings, utilities, local telephone and cable television. Weekly housekeeping service is optional for an additional charge at locations in North America. Housekeeping service is standard and included in the price in Europe and Asia. Additional charges which may be incurred are long distance telephone costs and any special customized furnishings you may request, such as a baby crib.

How do I pay?

Oakwood includes everything on one, simple customized invoice. You can be billed every month and pay via check/money order or with a credit card. Credit card payments including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and Diners Club can be done automatically. We can bill individuals or we can invoice a company directly. Companies with multiple employees staying with Oakwood can have their bills consolidated through our National Processing Center.

Can you bill my company electronically?

What types of clients does Oakwood serve?

What is included in an Oakwood corporate apartment?

Oakwood furnishes every residence with all the items needed for a comfortable stay. We provide everything from furniture to housewares, linens to home electronics. Even the pictures on the wall! Is there a minimum length of stay?

From January through September, virtually all U.S. locations have a 30-day minimum stay. Some shorter stays are available at select locations worldwide, notably Las Vegas, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, London, Manila, Bangkok and Guangzhou.

Oakwood also offers its "Family Place to Stay" providing furnished apartments for leisure and business travel. Based on availability, stays of five days or longer are accepted virtually everywhere.

What size apartments do you have available?

In every location, Oakwood offers a wide selection of ONE and TWO BEDROOM apartments featuring full kitchens and separate living and bedrooms. (Two bedroom apartments have two bathrooms). Based on the location you select, we may also have STUDIO apartments or large THREE BEDROOM apartments. The size of our floorplans varies from location to location, but Oakwood always offers among the most spacious apartments in each city, with much larger living areas than a hotel room. The sizes of Oakwood floorplans average:

What is the difference between corporate housing and serviced apartments?

"Corporate housing" refers to apartment units in residential apartment buildings that have been furnished and offer a wide range of a la carte furnishing and service options. Guests have the comforts of home in a private residential setting, typically with a one month minimum stay. "Serviced apartments" operate more like a hotel, with onsite hospitality staff, a 24 hour front desk, daily maid service, and accommodations for both daily and long stays.

What amenities are offered at your apartments?

Across all of its brands, Oakwood offers market leading amenities in all of its locations, customized to the local climate and the demands of the clientele.
